The Universal Kit will eliminate the need to measure your spindle. Air-Tight's Universal Kit comes with (1) different inner dimension size shim for spindles that are not 2.25". 99% of the current axles that have existing stainless steel shims do not have to be removed because they are now sealed to the spindle. Our stainless steel bushing is press on directly on top of the existing stainless steel shim. You will also have bare steel spindles that are stainless steel shim is pressed on directly.
